Atlanta composer and performer invited four Asberry School of Music students to open for him at his local tsunami benefit concert. After the concert, George said, “more than any other event with younger musicians, I was inspired by your students, thinking to myself, I really should go to other cities and connect with piano teachers to pull together similar concerts throughout the U.S. What a compliment! And best of all, we helped raise $244 for tsunami relief!
